Degtyaryova Pulemet Modernizirovannyi or simply DPM is a World War II-era machine gun.
It is a powerful weapon with a 47-round pan magazine (188 in reserve), but with high recoil & low accuracy. It was primarily used by the Soviet Union starting in 1928 and during World War II as a support machine gun.

Trivia[]
- In CrossFire Vietnam, this gun has ammo inconsistency, 47/141 in all modes, and 47/188 in Mutation mode and variants, making DPM the only machine gun in CrossFire Vietnam to have an ammo glitch.
- Realistically, you can shoulder fire this gun but the bolt cycle action and were the spent casings ejects is located on the bottom of the gun were the character is holding it.
- Also, the spent casings incorrectly ejects sideways.
- When reloading, it appears that the dust cover is engaged making the gun unshootable.
- The pan mag doesn't have the loading tab and does not rotate while shooting.
