MP5K A4

MP5K A4 is a compact version of the MP5A2, and is within the same family of the H&K MP5 SMG series in CrossFire.

Overview[]

The MP5K A4 (the K stands for "Kurz" which means short in German) is much smaller than the standard MP5, with a front grip and larger front sight shroud.

This SMG has a larger magazine capacity of 40 rounds, reloads faster than the MP5, and is a bit more powerful, although accuracy and firing rate is the same. It also has a different reloading animation.

CF China sells this gun in Item Shop (GP). CF Vietnam offers it in Black Market, GP crates while CF Indonesia put it as a coupon exchange prize.

The standard MP5K A4 model in CF has a long magazine (40 round mag) attached, which is both accurate in-game and in real life. However, its reskin variants have a short magazine (15 round mag) instead, which is very inaccurate considering that the reskins have a 45 round capacity (+5).
When released at CF Brazil this weapon had full wallbang, however, this feature got removed later without any announcement.
Unlike the MP5, the MP5K A4 in CrossFire depicts the proper reloading procedure for a Heckler & Koch submachine gun, which has the user slapping down the charging handle after it is locked to the rear, instead of racking it back and forth. In real life simply racking the charging handle will mostly fail to chamber a round, resulting in failure to fire.
- However in CF, the MP5K A4's charging handle is automatically locked to the rear during reloading, which does not happen in real life. A user of an actual H&K SMG has to manually lock its charging handle to the rear to clear the chamber for reloading.
