Marksman is a Class card available in Wave Mode. It's available to all players by default.
Role[]
Often used to support Juggernaut and Blaster, Marksman is best suited for skilled players to fight from distance or in closed quarter combat. He has the advantage of fast reload and damage dealing increased after that reload, and the Laser Sight skill allows him to score pinpoint shot which can take down enemies from distance easily.
Default skill[]
Marksman can reload every weapon faster than normal (Except the M4A1-S VIPs). After that reload, there is a short time that his weapon will deal higher damage to enemy and towers.
Active skill[]
After level 5 is reached, pressing F will let Marksman turn on his Laser Sight, reducing recoil greatly. He can fire an entire magazine into one spot and the bullets won't stray around much. This skill is best used while weilding Shotguns, as it allows all pellets to hit enemy players from a distance.
A lot of people misjudged this class and think it's ineffective against other class - this is because Marksman is not easy to master and thus novice players may not know how to operate it properly. To start off, weilding powerful weapons is a must (AK47 works best, as do semi-automatic shotguns like M1216) - ALWAYS remember to reload before engaging a firefight to increase damage dealing to opponents. Use the F-skill either on CQB to make sure most bullets are hit, or from distance to prevent enemeis from retreating to their tower/base - most of the time you can pop them easily from very far away.
Marksman can be very deadly if the team has a Commander. First, players need to RELOAD, then stand near Commander's Damage Boost flag to get a double damage increase effect. With a good weapon and proper aiming, Marksman can kill any opponents at distance before they can even react.

- Upon release, Marksman's Laser Sight skill is represented by a red laser sight hover bellow the weapon HUD when activated. Recent patches changed this to the Berserk HUD texture in Challenge Mode, removing the Laser Sight altogether.
- Nowadays, the Marksman is completely OPed with the usage of Steyr TMP variants with dual wield function - after a reload and pressing F, the crosshair will shrink down significantly and Marksman players can blast away with great accuracy, plus the ultra fast ROF effectively freezes anyone it hits in place, allowing his teammates to score damage easily.
