PPSh-41 is a WWII submachine gun featured in CrossFire.

Overview

PPSh-41 (Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina) is a Russian submachine gun designed by Georgi Shpagin and used extensively by the Red Army in World War 2. It is made largely of stamped steel. It is loaded with 71-round drum magazine, and fires the 7.62×25mm Tokarev pistol round.

This weapon is famous because of its very fast firing rate and high accuracy. But it suffers high recoil, and has low damage dealing.

Trivia

  • This is the third submachine gun in CrossFire that uses drum magazine.
  • This weapon has a similar drawing animation as the Ruger MINI-14 albeit faster, while its reloading animation is similar to Thompson.
  • In CF Vietnam, PPSh-41 was packed along with FAD and Spanner in a "New Era" crate, obviously making no sense because it's a historical gun.
  • This gun has an unusual HUD where characters grab the drum magazine in its upper position instead of side way (like Call of Duty) or underneath the barrel (Like Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spreadhead).
