The Shock class is extremely dangerous in closed quarter combat and therefore fills the role of supporting their teammates in rushing maps' gimmicks (Mortars, Energy Transmitter...). His Taser Gloves will make short work of enemy players in an instant, while he can run around very fast with it.
Shock's default skill is tied with his Active skill.
When level 5 is reached, pressing F will let Shock bring out his Taser Gloves, and his speed also increases while wearing these. The Taser Gloves electrocutes enemy players upon successfully hits, continuously draining their HP. Players getting hit by the Taser Gloves will have their screen shocked with blue electricity waves and their accuracy decreases greatly while this effect remains.
Because of Shock's ability to increase running speed, they have an important role in rushing supply boxes and/or towers. The trick is to activate F-skill, run all the way to key area while keeping the effect by shooting once in a while (to avoid electricity wearing down). For Supply boxes, it's best to run around in cycle to confuse your oppoent until reinforcement arrives.
To fight against Shock, it's best to use splash-damaging weapon like Remote C4, RPG-7, Mortar or Shield (planted). A Hunter is also very dangerous against Shock: his F-skill will immediately drain half of his enemy's health bar, while his secondary skill will help him drain the rest of Shock's HP very fast. Medic is another fair choice: a Medic Grenade can drain Shock's HP over time, while healing him/herself. A Juggernaut with his suit on could try standing in place taking time to aim and kill Shock users too.
