Super Soldier
Super Soldiers is a new mode that share Team DeathMatch's dynamics and some of Wave Mode's mechanics, including the cards, health points and reward system.

Availability[]

  • Super Soldiers (Korea, Brazil, Japan and Vietnam).
  • Super Mercenaries TD (China).
  • Titans Quest (Russia).
  • Super Soldier TD (Philippines, West, Español & Indonesia).

Description[]

While in game room, players are able to select various cards by placing them in the different bags they have. Players can see other opponents' Wave level (it switches back and forth with rank class), but cannot see their class cards. Once in-game, soldiers will have the same amount of health points as they would in a Wave Mode match and it's all down to facing each other heads-on. There is no in-match experience points, both team will level up after a period of time automatically, meaning no players can gain advantage over others with more kills.

Once a soldier reaches level 5, they can start using any of their classes active skills. Unlike in Wave Mode, leveling up will only refill players some HPs instead of a full refill to balance gameplay.

Rewards[]

Super Soldier TD offers the same rewards like in Wave Mode (additional class cards, EXP/GP bonus), but earning 'em is a bit different. Players earn Progress reward after each match depends on how long and how well they play, indicated by a yellow bar at the result screen. Once the bar fill up, players can click Receive prize button to reveal their goodies. This system effectively eliminated the risk of getting nothing, as players are permitted to save up their progress instead of having to exchange it right away like in Wave Mode.

Details[]

This mode plays out exactly like normal Search & Destroy matches, but every soldiers can carry out different classes in their bags. However, even though they are referred as Super Soldiers, they are far less effective in this mode.

They only have 100 health points and some of the faster classes are slower with their active abilities. Additionally, most of the card stats are significantly reduced. These reduced stats are shown as yellow text on each class cards in this mode only.

Shock Trooper FuzzyThe Commander The Joker The Blaster (Gold) Shock Trooper (Gold) Fuzzy (Gold) Coming Soon!

Due to mechanics difference, there are some changes with how classes work, which will be described here:

  • Juggernaut: This class only has 25 HP more than other classes, but still very strong with Suit protection. Can still be killed in one shot by Barrett M82A1 users.
  • Commander: Instead of placing flags, Commander only need to select one and "activate" it, which will put the flag behind their back. Teammates can still benefit from Commander's flag but there is no Radius indicator - they have to stay close to the Commander.
  • Hunter: The Crossbow is incredibly OPed in this mode due to its 1-shot kill ability against any other classes except Juggernaut. Hunter players can place a good rifle / SMG in their bag, then hang back and snipe enemy from distance. Use primary weapons to defend position until the Crossbow is available again then repeat.
  • Medic: Because Medic Grenade can heal 60-80 HP in this mode, having one Medic on your team means you don't have to worry about stray bullets as long as you can kill off your enemy. The Medic Grenade can partially substitute for Smoke Grenade when defending / attacking key area.

  • When this mode was first leaked, another map was shown beside Storehouse. But, as of the mode's release, the map was not added. It can still be seen in both the map selection screen and the sixth page of the guide section.
    • Chances are that it'll be added at a later date; assuming it wasn't scrapped entirely.
  • This mode has been discovered in CF China's system file on April, but Tencent delayed it for 6 months.

Wave Mode & Super Soldiers offers various Classes for players to choose before playing. These classes all have different abilities that highly affect the overall experience while playing. Once chosen, it may not be changed throughout the entirety of the game (excluding desertions).

However, soldiers are able to equip different cards in their bags in Super Soldiers, allowing them to change classes upon each respawn. Most classes are available immediately to players but some versions may force players to win specific ones with this mode's reward system.

Each classes has two abilities; a default and an active skill. The default skills are always in uses, excluding some that requires a specific action to happen, while active skills can only be used once level 5 is reached, using the F key; also each classes have different cooldown between uses, which decrease once higher levels are reached in a game.

It is also possible to upgrade your class with various enhancement system available within the new mode's lobby or the inventory. Thus giving them better stats overall and will likely improve their performance on the field.
