XM8-Adv is an assault rifle variant of XM8 featured in CrossFire.
Overview[]
This XM8 variant features an expanded magazine capacity to 35-rounds per magazine and a tan-desert skin on the weapon. It also has a red dot sight scope to increase the accuracy whilst firing.
In some versions, this weapon has a 3-round burst capability when using the red dot sight.

- XM8-Adv is possibly based on the early version of XM8 in real life, which has the tan-desert skin on the weapon.
- In CF West, this weapon has a different red dot sight texture which is has a cross on the red dot sight.
- In CF Philippines, it's weapon name is XM8-A, in Zombie Mode crate, upon opening the boxes, weekly, it's name is XM8-Desert.
- CF Indonesia is the only version that released two different versions of XM8-A.
- The first one is the XM8-A without 3-burst configuration, sold in the Item Shop.
- The second one is the XM8-A 3 Shot with 3-burst configuration, has been removed from the Capsule Shop.
